Home groups

A home group is a group of people who meet together in in a home to help encourage each other in the Christian faith through fellowship, bible study, prayer and social events.

Many benefits spring from joining one including:

Fellowship – An opportunity to meet with others and build friendships. It is one of the best ways to begin to feel more a part of Christ the King as you get to know a small number of people well.

Bible Study – Many people find the groups a place of growth as they study the Bible together. The studies provide a chance to learn how to live Christian lives, to ask questions in a friendly environment and to learn how to learn from the experience of other group members.

Prayer – A time of prayer for the needs of group members, the church, the community we live in and other wider issues. Nobody is expected to pray aloud unless they want to.

Care & Support – As group members get to know each other, practical care, support and encouragement will develop.
