About Us

Our Vision
Christ at the heart of who we are,
Christ at the heart of how we live.
This core vision summarises our belief about God’s call upon our lives, collectively and individually.
To help us think about what that looks like, we have four sub-headings:
Following
Sharing
Serving
Caring

Our Story
CTK originated as an offshoot of St Michael’s Church, Stoke Gifford, to serve the new town of Bradley Stoke and Little Stoke.
The congregation first met at Little Stoke Community Centre, later moving to the Youth Centre on Little Stoke Lane. A site was eventually purchased among the new houses of Bradley Stoke. The new building was specifically designed to provide flexible spaces that would allow it to be used as both a worship centre and a focus for community activities. It was officially opened by the Right Reverend Barry Rogerson, Bishop of Bristol, on 26th January 1991. Since then, it has steadily developed as a focal part of life for the communities of Little Stoke and Bradley Stoke.
