Murray is a retired engineer and one of our Licensed Lay Ministers. He became a Christian in about 1976 during his years at Southampton University. He is particularly enthusiastic about preaching and mentoring those younger in the faith. He is married to Annie, who is also part of the church family – together, they have two grown-up daughters and one grandson.
Having grown up in the south he is a keen fan of Southampton Football Club and, being very practical, he generally has at least one DIY project on the go at home. He is also a volunteer on a steam heritage railway and is a keen boater on the inland waterways.
